Do you remember the NatWest piggies? #pigsbykids
Do you remember the NatWest piggies? I so wanted them. I really really wanted them. My savings were elsewhere. I watched from the sidelines as my friends collected them. My favourite was Annabel the school girl. Those piggies sell for a fortune in collectors Fayre’s and on eBay, I expect my parents wish now that they had opened me a second account!
The original Natwest piggies were commisioned to encourage young savers, you needed £100 to get the final piggy. Natwest are now looking for a budding designer to design a new piggy to help encourage todays younger generation to save.
Natwest have launched a new #pigsbykids campaign. Today my girls got busy creating their pigs. They have not finished their models as the paint is drying as I type and I will share the finished pigs once completed. However in the meantime I wanted to share the competition details so that you too can join in.
Children are encouraged to get crafty, get creative and have fun designing a new pig that will see the winning pig being used as the new NatWest pig.
1. The competition is open to children up to 13 years old.
2. The winning design will become the new NatWest pig.
3. The closing date for entries is 12pm on 11th November 2012
4. Terms and conditions apply see website for details Natwest
The girls got busy this evening – Dyl took the opportunity to play on the wii without his sisters interfering, can’t say I blame him really. Chloe is waiting for her paint to dry before adding her final finishing touches. We have had great fun this evening and hope that you join in.

Disclosure: we were sent an amazing craft pack to promote the competition and we have loved being part of this campaign!
