Aug 08 Emma and 3 is the Feather and Black winner!

Returning home from a a sun drenched holiday after enjoying some wonderful family time and drinking copious amounts of gin, normally brings about the post holiday blues.  You enjoy the preparation of the holiday, buying up new clothes, dreaming of the cocktails and afternoons spent on a sun lounger.  Before you know it though you are trying to get the air out of your lilo so you can bring it home.  You find yourself packing wet towels with the clothes you didn’t wear so everything has a musty smell by the time you get home.

However, this time I had something exciting to come home to.  As lots of you will know I have recently taken part in the Feather and Black blogger challenge to complete a room makeover.  Feather and Black have the most divine wooden beds and I knew I would chose a bed if I won the overall competition.  Well thanks to lots of you who voted for Chloe’s room we have won the challenge.  I came home to the wonderful news that we now have a £500 voucher to spend on bedroom furniture of our choice.

So a big thank you to anyone who supported us during this challenge. It has made the holiday blues a little easier to bear!

We plan to get this storage bed as it will complement out newly decorated room perfectly.  Since blogging I have been really lucky to be involved in some great campaigns and ones like this are definately the best.  They challenge you to try something different, to get creative.
