Look what yummy treats we were sent this week… picnic snacks
With plenty of days out and picnics planned for the summer the children and me are always keen to taste test new snacks. This week we have been spoilt with a number of tasty treats dropping through the letterbox. These snacks we tried are perfect for our days out whether we are out on our kayak or on a day trip.
Firstly our friends over at plum sent Erin some lovely finger food snacks. We are fans of organic and good quality picnic foods and these are yummy too. Erin loved the apple and spelt bars. She has also developed a real taste for crisps and these were enjoyed!
Secondly we also taste tasted the new Llama baked snacks. These were enjoyed by the older two as they come in three fab flavours, BBQ, tangy cheese and our favourite sweet chilli. I had already spotted the advertising posters at the bus stops so it was great to receive some to try. The snacks offer to rid the world of boring flavours and we certainly did like the change. Another ideal picnic companion.
Finally we have also recieved some posh chocolate. ChokABlok last year sent us some divine ice cream and we have loved the brand ever since. They have followed up with some equally divine chocolate. With names like ‘Gold Digger Dynamite’ which is milk and white chocolate swirled together with caramel cups and chunks of sweet honeycomb I was quickly enticed. This is a fab treat and well worth spoiling yourself with. I like that the bar is 100 grams, it helps me stop when I need to! It is the perfect size for snapping up and sharing with the family.
These snacks were all sent to us free of charge to try. The opinions are all our own.
