Rainy day play

Written by Emma. Posted in Reviews, Uncategorized

When the sun is shining I barely see my eldest however there have been way to many rainy days over these summer holidays.  Therefore it was with thanks we recieved a couple of games to keep Chloe and her friends giggling.  The Diary of the wimpy kid, has a new film out which the children watched at the cinema, luckily they were then sent the board game ’cheese touch’  from makers Paul Lamond Games.  The girls really enjoyed the interactive game.  Basically the board game involves a player reading out a question, the other players write down their answers or act out a word and the player has to guess whose answer is whose or guess what is being acted out.  The girls had a giggle playing this and have been back to the game a few times since which always shows it is a hit!  I love to hear the girls sitting in my dining room laughing and with this they did just that!

They also recieved Perudo which is a Tin Game and has no boards or whatever to set up. This is fast paced and great fun for everyone. Simply roll dice, lie and see if you think the person next to you is lying or being honest. We have found this to be a great after dinner or evening game. It would also be fun with adults after dinner having a few drinks. The winner is the last person with a die remaining. Not complicated and ideal for holidays and travelling too as you can really play it anywhere.
