Rivetz Technokit Review

Written by Emma. Posted in Uncategorized

Dylan doesn’t play with many toys but he does like a challenge and a project on the go.  Therefore the Racer Card Sculpture was up his street.  You get pre cut decorated card, a Rivetz gun and the Rivetz and you build your own sculpture.

Once fitted together you end up with a giant sculpture, in the currant range are a Racer car, a giant hornet and a dragon.  The sculpture can be taken apart and redone as required.  We recieved the Racer car to review.

It looked simple enough, the card is all labelled up and the instructions make it seem easy.  However for my eight year old it was anything but!  The project really is a two person job, Dyl needed me to hold bits for him whilst he did the shooting.

It was not something we could do in one sitting either. That is actually a good thing in my opinion as it isn’t a five minute wonder. You need to have patience and it is best built over the course of a few days. I am not sure that many would be able to do this without another pair of hands but once done it did look good and Dylan was really impressed with what he had made.  He enjoyed using the gun and felt abit like he was doing some DIY – he felt like he was using tools!

A fun project to do when you have some time and like a challenge.

Disclosure:  I was gifted the Rivetz set for the review although the thoughts and opinions are all my own.
