The reveal……

Written by Emma. Posted in Uncategorized

After a busy few days we are there!  As you may remember we were challenged to complete a room make over. We got started and began getting creative. A week on and Chloe has blown her budget from Feather and Black, she has bedroom furniture to swoon over and accessories to match. Her girlfriends love the look she has created and her chill pad has been lived in. We settled on a gorgeous range of Lydia bedding by Kirstie Alsopp which we got bought from Palmers Department store and the cushions came from Next. The bedding transforms the room and would look amazing on any of the Feather and Black wooden beds.  The bedding was the biggest expense and where Chloe spent the most money but she fell in love with the range!  The cushions ranged from £12 to £20, the duvet was £29 and didn’t even come with the pillowcases which had to bought separately. Chloe choose three cushions from the range as she reliably told me that a set designer told her always to group things in three’s for the best look and effect.

Chloe decided to streamline the room and bought a beautiful picture frame and heart mirror and decorative heart that both picks out the heart in the bedding and obviously complements the gorgeous Olivia blanket box that the room was designed around.  Both the mirror and picture frame came from Dunelm and we thought they were really good value at £9.99 and £21.99.  The red curtains also came from Dunelm and they are blackout curtains which are needed in her room.

Chloe adores the light fitting from Next, it looks really beautiful and gives a soft glow to the room.

We are really pleased with the overall look. We really enjoyed this challenge- it was great to spend time together redoing Chloe’s room. We now need your votes as each blogger will be submitting their made over room on the Feather and Black facebook page. The room with the most ‘likes’ wins the £500 voucher to spend at Feather and Black. Please please do pop here to like Chloe’s new bedroom.
