Feb 03 Tooth Fairy Challenge

Dylan woke up crying this morning.  Lee went rushing in to him to find that Dylan has lost a tooth.  Now this is the third tooth that he has lost but was a big occassion as he has inadvertantly swallowed the previous two!  The first disappeared without him noticing until he went to brush his teeth.  The second was swallowed during a sunday roast.  We were at mums eating when Dylan announced his tooth felt very wobbly.  I told him to finish dinner then I would look.  I was a little surprised when I looked and discovered he’d eaten it along with his roast potatoes!

Therefore losing this third one was important to Dylan because he wants to put it under his pillow.  Little did I know but the tooth came out last night and he wanted to know if  the tooth fairy was real.  Therefore he decided not to tell mummy or daddy and set up his own experiment of falling asleep with the said tooth in his hand. 

Therefore once he awoke this morning he was upset as the tooth had gone but there was no £1 in its place!  He tearfully told daddy what happened and luckily daddy found the tooth in the bed.  We have managed to dodge the issue that the tooth fairy didn’t come and told him to put it UNDER his pillow tonight to see what happens!
