Wednesday’s Wardrobe – littles get creative with Little Casa

Written by Emma. Posted in fashion, Uncategorized, Wednesdays Wardrobes

This week I am sharing a website that was new to me. Regular readers will know I have a thing about clothes for my children, especially for the girls who love clothes! Chloe follows the fashion pack but I like seeing Erin in clothes that are not run of the mill. Clothes that not everyone wears. I am frequently complimented on Erin’s outfits and I like that! Just call me superficial  ;)

Little Casa stock a great range of brands from Beau Loves to Tiny Tatty Teddy and again it will be tops, dresses or skirts that others are not wearing, but will soon wish they were!  Little Casa sent Erin one of their Little Mashers Chalk n Tee Princess T Shirts which retails at £18.00.  The top arrived beautifully packaged in a box and I immediately thought that it would be make an ideal gift for someone.  The T Shirt is unique as it has a chalkboard as the key feature.  I wondered whether it would be stiff but it is not.  The top is good quality, it is 100% cotton but a little thinner than some other quality brands.  The top was pink and the sizing was great.  I received an age  3-4 and wondered if it would be a good fit as Erin is a bit of a chunk and I tend to buy age 4 clothes now although she is still three.  However I need not have worried – the fit is great.  The USP of the top is that chalkboard can be drawn on, wiped away and drawn on again.   The top comes with some chalks in a little drawstring bag.

Erin enjoys doing some doodles then wearing the top, in fact she asks to do it the night before she is going to wear it. It washes really well in the washing machine and is soon ready to go again and you can then draw a new face on the chalk board. I love that littles can customise their own clothes, what a great idea. I have a teen who really wants to work in fashion/ set design or similar she is creative and zany. Tops like this encourage that from an early age and it allows our littles to experiment and be different.

Erin loved putting her artistic flair on her outfit.

Once again I’d love to see what you have been wearing, buying or reviewing. Grab the badge from my sidebar and join the linky.

Disclosure: I have been gifted the top for the purpose of the post.

That looks great fun! Like you, I like my daughter to look unique, but as she’s 7 now she’s getting more like your elder daughter and making more of her own choices. I’m happy if we can meet somewhere in the middle!
