Win with Volvo #V60getaway
Where was your best family holiday? For us there are two that stand out, Disney in 2008 which was a fun filled adventure from start to finish and also Greece in 2007 which was for my brother in laws wedding. Greece was scorching hot and with just immediate family and a couple of friends we were part of their big day. They were married in a little traditional church which was followed by a champagne cruise. It was a beautiful day with many special memories. It was actually made all the more special as we escaped the floods which engulfed Gloucestershire to get there. We drove through the night with roads being shut around us as we were determined to catch our flight. We later learnt how the water was switched off and our neighbours were struggling with water bowsers and the Army coming in to keep us safe.
An exciting competition is being launched on twitter on 27th May, with the chance to win prizes hourly. By simply answering questions from Volvo like ‘where was your best holiday?’ you will be entered to win prizes including a merlin pass, a kindle and family days out. With the school summer holidays looming I am sure that these prizes will come in useful.
The Volvo V60 is a rather special car which is why volvo have decided to give away some rather special prizes. The V60 has a sporty look with a sports chassis, however it also has inbuilt technology that avoids collisions and detects pedestrians. With auto breaking it is designed for city living. If dad or myself came home with this car the kids would never want to leave it! It even has inbuilt rear seat entertainment in the form of 7″ dvd players and you can even connect your ipod! This would certainly keep my little lot entertained as we zipped about!
To enter make sure you are following @volvoCarUK on twitter and use the hashtag #V60getaway to join in and follow the stream. If you are a lucky winner – and there will be lots, do come back and let me know.
