Disney brings out the best in people, you can feel the Disney Magic as soon as you arrive to watch one of the films or see a show. We started our Easter celebrations with an exciting visit to watch Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment at the Genting Arena in Birmingham. We were invited along to provide an honest review and here we share what we enjoyed about the show.
The show is currently touring the UK and we caught up with Mickey and Crew whilst they were local to us in Birmingham. As we arrived we spotted many children who had dressed up as their favourite Disney characters. It is lovely to see the excitement on their faces as they wait to see their Disney favourites.
The show is split into quarters with Toy Story and The Little Mermaid in the first half and Cars and Frozen after the interval. Be warned buying snacks and little spinney light wands are very expensive, but that is par for the course at these events. So either go prepared with your own contraband or pay up!
Erin and I took our friends with us and all of us really enjoyed the show. The dancing was incredible, beautiful and elegant all at the same time. There were lifts and jumps that had the girls wishing they were dancers. The story was also captivating and recognisable from the films they all love.
The show itself is a riot of colour and there is so much to take in. The dances seamlessly flow as you are taken on this magical journey through Disney On Ice Worlds of Enchantment. I think both boys and girls will enjoy the adventure and the content covers both genders well. Disney loving boys will get their fix of cars if that’s their thing and for those who want princesses – they get Ariel. It really works for all.
Their faces say it all in this photo I took.
When Frozen started, it was enough to have me singing along and I wasn’t the only one. The show is interactive and you are encouraged to clap along and really get into the party feeling.
We absolutely enjoyed the show and you still have plenty of time to catch it as it tours for another month. For those looking to book follow this link to see when it is near you.
