At the weekend we were lucky enough to be invited to either a Breakfast or Tea with the Easter Bunny at Wyevale Garden Centre in Gloucester. Erin jumped at the chance because a) she loves a cooked breakfast and b) she loves anything creative. The event is running at the Gloucester, Wyevale Garden Centre until Easter and it is not too late to book your slot.
The event will give both you and your little one the chance to:
· tuck into a delicious meal
· enjoy a bunny hunt with chocolate treats
· receive a cuddly toy & fun activity sheet
· decorate your very own Easter cookie
We opted to go for a breakfast last Sunday, after all who doesn’t like a full breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. The breakfast did not disappoint! Adults can choose a full or light breakfast and of course, we went for the full brekkie complete with local sausages and eggs.
On arrival, we were shown to our table, where there were already name labels for Erin. She was able to crack on with some colouring whilst getting settled. Shortly afterwards Erin was invited to go on an egg hunt around the store. Answering clues led Erin to find chocolate treats.
Next a lovely breakfast was served, with unlimited squash for the children and coffee/ tea for the adults.
Each child then has a table visit from Alice in Wonderland and the Easter Bunny, who offers the child a choice of gifts. Erin choose a soft teddy which she adores. She collects these types of teddies so was very happy.
After breakfast, there is another photo opportunity with the bunny and Alice which Erin enjoyed.
The final treat for the children is that they are given an Easter biscuit to decorate. They are given a bag of icing and some sweets to decorate their biscuit.

The recommended age for children attending this event is between 3-8 years old and the activities are all included in the price. This was a great way to start our Easter celebrations.
