Last Christmas the toy that everyone wanted was Hatchimals. And I like everyone else I joined the massive hunt for one. This year Hatchimal’s are back with the all new Hatchimal Surprise. Erin was lucky enough to be sent one to unbox and open on the day of the launch. Look at that excited face!
I took the Hatchimal Surprise out of the box so that Erin would not have a clue what to expect and as you can see in the vlog below, the surprise blew her mind!
- Hatchimals are magical and interactive creatures that embody the wonder of surprise. Children are key to releasing the magic and it’s through their curiosity, care and nurturing that Hatchimals are brought to life. While the hatch is one special moment in time, the fun continues as children raise their Hatchimals from baby to toddler to full-grown Hatchimal, teaching it to walk, talk, play games and more.
- Raise them both through three stages: from baby, to toddler, to kid and unlock new ways to play at each stage. Best of all, the twins love spending time together and they can really sense and respond to one another – including telling secrets, playing games and dancing – creating endless play opportunities for kids.
Hatchimal Surprise: Our thoughts
The Hatchimal Surprise egg is bigger than last years egg and took less time to hatch. Ours hatched within about six minutes. You simply rub the bottom of the egg and you will hear sounds and see some flashing lights. As the Hatchimal breaks free from its egg it starts singing Happy Birthday. Erin was giggling as this happened as you can see in the vlog.
The Hatchimals will interact with each other. Within the box is also a guide to what the lights and sounds mean and informs the children how to grow and care for their babies. Overnight the Hatchimals slept and did not make and noise during the night that disturbed Erin.
We had great fun with these and do believe they are worth the money and will be once more top of the wish lists!
Disclossure: We were gifted the Hatchimal Surprise for this vlog.
