Since leaving teaching my weight has crept up, from swapping pacing about the classroom and long walks around the school buildings to sitting on the sofa with my laptop coupled together with, dare I say it, middle age my weight is not what it was. The ageing process is not especially kind either, with weight becoming harder to shift and sitting around my middle. It has left me feeling pretty unhappy with my body. Hopefully, this will change now that I am undertaking a Modius review.
There is a huge body confidence drive right now but I just can’t subscribe to it when I don’t feel beautiful and slimmer. It doesn’t mean I don’t thank my body for what it has achieved (two teenagers and tween) but it does mean that I’m not confident about how I look. I feel at odds about this because I certainly don’t hate my body, I don’t look at myself and cry but there are bits I want to change. I don’t think it is just a case of loving myself more because actually, I don’t not love myself. I have a great sense of worth and also quite high self esteem yet I still want to look a bit better. A little thinner, a little more toned and a little stronger and hopefully Modius will help me achieve this.
Almost a year ago I found a gym and the type of exercise that I have been looking for. I found Iron Zuu and I am now pretty fit. I lift weights, I box, I slam balls and I can drum run, all these things have empowered me so much and ignited my passion for keeping fit. At the tail end of 2018 I followed the Iron Zuu nutrition plan and lost an amazing 18lbs and I have pretty much kept it off. I have dropped a dress size and seen some impressive changes to my body. I am wearing clothes that I had forgotten I owned and I am looking forward to my summer wardrobe this year.
However, I still want to lose more. Now I am not 100% on the nutrition plan my weight loss has stalled. I have found over the years that I lose weight and then slowly it reappears. I want to take control once and for all and find a solution that keeps me on track. Many of the old weight loss systems fixated on the gut, it was about reducing appetite by eliminating food faster through the gut. What this approach doesn’t do is address the brain and the thinking process.
That is until now! Modius is a new approach, forward thinking and backed up by science. The Modius headset is worn for an hour a day and it is suggested we wear it in the evening which I have started doing. The first time wearing Modius did feel a little strange. You feel like you are swaying a little, for me it felt like I’d had a glass of wine or two! You start on a low setting as you get used to the sensation and you can then increase the frequency.
I am really interested to see what impact the Modius is going to have on my weightloss. I will be keeping readers up to date with honest results. If you are looking to purchase the Modius then I have a 15% Modius discount code clicking this link. I recorded a short vlog so that you can see exactly what is in the box.
Do follow my journey to see how the Modius works for me.
