Finally summer seems to have put in a long awaited appearance and immediately I am talking about Christmas, snowmen and advent! Yes really! However those in the know, understand that now is the time to be buying tickets for those sell out shows, the ones that all parents are trying to get tickets for come autumn. This includes The Snowman Tour 2018. When you have booked you can then sit back with a pimms (it is summer afterall) in hand knowing that you already have the hottest tickets and don’t need to see childrens unhappy faces!
On Saturday 14 April, tickets went on sale at venues across the country for Carrot Productions’ presentation of the
iconic film The Snowman accompanied by live orchestra. Most venues are predicted to sell out long before December and we are lucky enough that The Snowman is coming to Gloucester and shows will be taking place in the cathedral no less.
The Snowman experience offers much more than a viewing of the beloved movie, itself made extra vivid by the presence of live musicians: a professional orchestra and a young soloist performing the famous Walking in the Air song. The programme also includes a second animation, specially commissioned by Carrot Productions.
This year some venues will be treated to a world exclusive in the form of A Donkey’s Tale. This heart-warming story of Dillon the Donkey, an ordinary donkey with an extraordinary dream that takes him on a journey that will change his life, has been specially written and composed by Daniel Whibley.
I am already excited to watch the show and just know that it will make Christmas magical for Erin. I am really pleased to be working with Carrot Productions to help promote this in the local area as I know just how popular this will be. For ticket information and further details of The Snowman tour, which runs from 3 to 29 December, please visit Carrot Productions.
