A heatwave has been promised and I’ll believe it when I see it! I cannot remember a time when I have put the heating on in June before yesterday (don’t tell the husband). The wind is howling and I’m still firmly in winter woolies and just gazingly longingly at my new summer wardrobe!
However I will not let the wind put me off reviewing my gorgeous new Merrell sandals that I have been sent by Mastershoe. This is not a brand that I have ever wore but I was surprised when I posted a picture on Instagram and Facebook and immediately many real life friends commented how comfy they are, how they love Merrell and that type of thing. That got me interested!
My friends were right, they are super comfy and will be a summer staple. As they are light they will go with anything from jeans to floaty dresses. I have recently topped up the summer wardrobe and I will be wearing these with this dress from Boden.
This sandals feature a suede leather and textile uppers for durable wear they also have a velcro strap across the top of the foot for adjustability. Subtle Merel branding to the strap and contrast stitching adds great character whilst a moulded EVA footframe with air cushioning gives good support and comfort underfoot for all day wear. Completed with a Merrills sticky rubber outsole the Merrell Sandspur Slide is a great summer basic.

I used to work in a shoe shop and Merrell shoes/sandals were always super popular, they’re just so comfy, and they don’t look it at first glance.
