Skin Genius Review for Teenage Skin

Raising a soon to be teenage boy is rather different from raising a girl.  Boys and girls are wired differently and my son and daughter are so different.  They may come from the same gene pool but they are as different as they can be.  Personal hygiene is much more of an issue with my son than I remember with Chloe.  He still relies on me to remind him to shower and wearing deodorant is always an afterthought.

However, one area that he is bothering with is his face.  Puberty started last year for Dyl with a huge growth spurt.  He was always average height but the past year has seen him grow in height and slim down.  His legs especially have grown and it is probably why he has suffered this year with severs disease and osgood schlatters disease (neither real diseases but painful nonetheless).

His hair and face though do matter.  He now insists on a haircut every four weeks which costs more than I spend on the girl’s hair! He only lets one hairdresser do it and won’t see anyone else.  He also takes care of his face since I pointed out that it was starting to get greasy and shiny.  He doesn’t have any spots but we talked about preventing them rather than trying to deal with them afterwards.  He agreed with me and has since been using products daily.  I know he does because he is always in my room taking my cotton wool to use his skin cleanser.  However, it can be difficult to know what products to use on his skin.  I didn’t want him to start using harsh chemicals and upset his natural balance especially as he doesn’t have any spots – just the greasy skin with the potential to develop spots.  Therefore it was great to see that Skin Genius have developed a range specifically for teenage skin.  Did you know that around 80% of all teenagers will develop some degree of acne?

The SkinGenius products are jam-packed full of natural and organic ingredients which are anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and will also soothe and calm the skin. They really can make a difference to teenage skin and the results are lasting as the products address the cause of acne, pimples and spots and don’t just mask the symptoms.

Dylan has been using the products for a few weeks.  I feel it is important when reviewing skin products that you need a few weeks before you can comment on them.  These are brilliant and I can see the subtle changes.  He has less shine and the skin does not appear as greasy.  Yet at the same time it hasn’t dried out his skin, proving it is not harsh on his young skin.  The Back to School package makes a great gift and we can totally recommend it for teenage skin.
