If lockdown taught us anything I think we all learnt new technology skills! Whether it was family quiz nights on Zoom, school lessons on Microsoft Teams, Facetiming with the girls or never ending work conferances wearing a nice top but hiding your PJ bottoms and slippers lower down, we embraced it all.
We might not have been prepared for lockdown but many of us discovered that we are resilient and we found and learnt new skills. I meant to learn calligraphy but never quite got around it to although I did master teaching algebra and ratio to the 10 year old – so that is a win!

This emphasis on remote learning and communicating has probably changed our world going forward. We will continue to work in new and innovative ways. I personally find this exciting, as working from home blogger are am always online and that is where I shop and where I find the best deals for products and services.
I like to always feel that I get value for money and as such I have a fair few money saving tips. I pride myself on knowing how to get get a good deal when making purchases and I am always sharing my money saving ways with friends. My top tips are always around comparing quotes. Never ever accept the auto renewal without doing some groundwork.
I have instilled this into my kids too and the eldest was very happy when she made a signficant saving on her car insurance when she spent 30 minutes comparing deals. Every saving counts when you are a university student like her!
We are also seeing a shift from businesses who are embracing more effective ways to communicate with consumers, especially using visual platforms. Compare by Review (CBR) have embraced this technology and launched their new video review platform, the first of its kind by a comparison website.

Who are Comapre by Review?
Compare by Review are a comparison site geared towards the quality of service and products, unlike traditional insurance comparison sites that value price above all other aspects price. Compare by Review is completely free to use, you don’t have to sign up as a member or pay any fees to use the service.
The company covers pet, travel, health, life and home insurance.
Therefore whether you are buying pet insurance or home insurance you can now watch video reviews. Sitting alongside the traditional written review option, the new platform allows users to leave video reviews alongside their rating of the provider of their choice.
I don’t know about you but I find it really tricky when choosing pet insurance, thankfully I’ve never had to claim but I know that it could be a costly mistake if I don’t get the right cover for our Cavachon Lilly.
Therefore I do spend time checking reviews, policies and comparing them. As tempting as it is to go with the cheapest it rarely offers the right policy for me. In the past, I have been concerned with fake reviews but being able to watch a video review reassures me that it is genuine.
I have greater trust when using reviews and it seems that I am not the only one with nearly 95% of us referring to a trusted site or reading a review before we make a purchase.
Therefore next time you are searching for insurance providers check out Compare by Review and discover the right product for you.
Sharing is caring!
