We get very excited when we are expecting a Warner Bros package. They really pull out all the stops and tailor the package perfectly. Therefore when Dylan knew that a Batman package was making it’s way here from Gotham City he kept checking the post! He wasn’t disappointed when his package including the new Wii game, mask, keyring and lego set arrived. After dashing upstairs to where the wii has pride of place he got playing. Then we headed over to his uncle to play it with him too!
Lego Batman has an age 7 cert. So onto the game, Batman and Robin return in LEGO® Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes, this is a highly-anticipated sequel to the best-selling LEGO® videogame of all time. I was amazed to find out it has sold more than 11 million worldwide. This time the Dynamic Duo join forces with other famous DC super heroes including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to stop the notorious villains Lex Luthor and The Joker from destroying Gotham City. The games promises that Batman fans of all ages will enjoy a new and original story filled with classic LEGO videogame action and humour as players fight to put the bad guys back behind bars.
In reality Dylan found the game challenging at first. He initially got a little frustrated until he had mastered the controls and movements. Since then however he has spent hours locked away working his way through the challenges. I like that this type of game requires some problem solving and thinking skills. It is perfect for a tween age boy that likes a challenge. Lego Batman 2 is available from Game, it is available for the X Box, Wii and Playstation consoles.

Sounds like he had great fun with it. My 5yo has played the first game and loved it. I liked the way he had to think logically about the actions and it took a little patience. He is desperate for this one too (love how it comes with a mask!) but he will have to be very good at school, home etc for this treat! xx
