My boy collects match attax. Need a job doing? For a pack of match attax it’ll be sorted. Need a room tidying – it costs a packet. Gets his spellings all right, another packet. You get the picture.
Tonight we needed to have the stranger danger chat. A man exposed himself yesterday outside his school to parents and children. As we walked home from school tonight I asked Dyl what he would do if a stranger started talking to him. He gave all the right answers and said it’s not rude to ignore a stranger etc.
I decided to really test him. ‘What if they offered match attax?’ I challenged.
‘Ignore ‘he replied
‘What if it were two packets?’
‘Ignore’ he said
‘What if it were ten packs?’
‘Well I’d ignore because I’d get them anyway’ he reasoned.
Puzzled I asked what what he meant.
‘well he replied if I got offered ten packs and still said no – you’d be really pleased with me and buy me the ten anyway!’
I guess he is right! He just makes me smile with how quick he responds with these thoughts!
Sharing is caring!

You just can’t argue with that logic, can you?! Good boy though 🙂
