Earlier in the week I wrote about toys for boys. I had said how difficult I found it to buy for Dylan and how unimpressed I was to find a range of toys for Call of Duty. I believe children should be playing and be encouraged to be outdoors. Therefore I was really pleased when Maplin got in touch to introduce me to their toys for boys. I associate Maplin with computers and tools therefore it was good to take a peek at their gadgets too.
Maplin have a range of toys that tween boys and older would have fun with. They sent us a 1:12 RC Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 in yellow which is pretty much most nine year olds dream car. The car is a highly detailed design and has realistic tyres. It also has:
• Front and rear suspensions
• Adjustable trim for accurate steering
• Full function radio control
• Working front and rear lights
• High speed
• Requires 5 x AA , 1 x 9V Batteries
The car is such a great gift for Christmas, they also stock other cars and remote controlled helicopters too. I actually think Lee will be out there playing with this one, along with my dad and brothers on Christmas day!

Thanks a lot foe this information Emma… my son is also very hard to buy for! Was going to buy him a toy car.. no way is he getting this ‘Call of Duty’
