I have been lucky enough to review several Wii games from ubisoft over the past six months and in December we were sent four more games to keep us entertained over Christmas. This batch included games for all of us and the children couldn’t wait for them to arrive.
Rayman Origins was nabbed by Dylan and this game has an age rating of 7 so I was keen to see how he got on with it. The story of the game is that Rayman and his heroic gang of misfits have kicked off a war with their snoring. The aim is to save nymphs, making more mischief and earning fantastic new powers.
Dylan has been locked into battle with this game since it arrived! He enjoys it, it offers different challanges and is suitable for both boys and girls.
The characters appeal as they have personalities that develop through the game, for example the Electoons are always happy and the Bubble Dreamer has the emotions of an artist and is very emotional. As a family game this can be played with four players which I like as I enjoy the social side of playing wii games and we like games we can all be involved in.
