Supplies for Lavender Soap
- ΒΌ lb melt and pour Melt And Pour Soap Base
- 1 drop lavender liquid soap dye
- 10 drops Lavender Pure Essential Oil
- Small glass bowl
- Wooden craft stick
- Small Heart Shaped Silicone Mold
Instructions for Lavender Soap
Step 1. Put soap base in glass bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir very well. If not completely melted, put on for another 10 seconds.
Step 2. Stir liquid soap dye and essential oil into the bowl.
Step 3. Spoon mixture into the silicone mold.
Step 4. Let the lavender soap set for about 30 minutes and remove from mold.
These lavender soaps are super easy to make and are an ideal science experiment for primary school students who like to understand how things are made. We are also looking at using much more natural products and many are moving away and looking at ethical soaps. Bars of soap are also on the increase once again as we are trying to use less plastic and therefore shower gel is out and soap bars are certainly back in.
