Life parenting a child in a spica cast for hip dysplasia is not easy. Us parents need to be creative to find solutions to everyday problems like sitting at a table. The spica cast positions the child in a frog position which limits how and where they can sit. We found the Totseat was an essential piece of kit for us to manage our hip dysplasia journey. Our Experience
It means the world to me that she will be sitting us at the table on Christmas Day and as you can see from her grin she enjoys the social side of sitting at the table with her siblings.
It is often the small things that make a world of difference and for us, the Totseat has been a hero product. It fits into my handbag and allows Erin to sit at a table when she is out. As she cannot stand or walk this is a huge thing and allows us to get out of the house and join in with age-appropriate activities at mother and baby groups. I can also take her to coffee shops etc which stops us from being quite so isolated.
