Back To University Clothes Haul From Femme Luxe

Chloe has been home for the last five weeks and her Christmas break has finally come to an end. As I type she is packing up her room and getting ready to head back to Plymouth. If you have a teenager planning to go to university you should read Teenager-starting-university and what you need to know.

It is a funny feeling when she heads off again, it has been a long break as Chloe hasn’t had any exams to do, she has had written assignments to submit and was able to complete them from home rather than needing to be in Plymouth. Parenting an adult is a new dynamic and yet she still needs her mum! There isn’t much she does that she doesn’t discuss with me and of course, we are still financially supporting her through her studies.

Before she left we collaborated with Femme Luxe which offers affordable fashion that she loves. She picked a few pieces including a comfy lounge suit that she can wear to lectures and for chilling in her house and a jumper dress.

We loved the colour of the lounge suit which was super comfy. The khaki crop jumper and long-legged pants look fab with her converse hi-tops. They have an elasticated waistband and it cost just £16.99 for the set.

Chloe also picked two crop tops which are her standard wear as a 20 year old in the spring and summer. Look closely and you will notice that they are different and not exactly the same!! She has teamed these with some black jeans and white trainers.

For those colder university days she opted for a jumper dress that she can wear as an oversized jumper too! We do like clothes that work hard and can be worn different ways! I had a style session recently and was told to wear a long necklace or pendant when wearing high necked tops!

Chloe looks great and ready for semester two. It will be ten long weeks before I see her again, although she facetimes me most days!

Parenting a university student is something we have both gotten used to but again it is a good inbetween stage as we still have her home for a few months a year. When she fully moves out it will be all change again but hopefully that won’t be for a few years yet!

This Christmas she has been busy both working her part time retail job that pays for her holidays and also she has been at the gym lots – her happy place! Chloe even did her Gradus 1 workshop meaning that she could now teach Zuu if she wanted, her friends joke that she will become a personal trainer but she intends to keep that as a side hustle or hobby! If you are looking to earn some extra money this year then read 6 Easy Side Hustles which I shared on Mums Savvy Savings.
