I am a Britax Mumbassador

Last month I attended and spoke on the Britmums Live  panel about being an ambassador.  It is a role I value and I am honoured each and every time I am offered an ongoing relationship with a brand.  Having three children, a teen, tween and toddler which means that we are pretty flexible and have had some fantastic opportunities through Emma and 3.

One brand I spent a bit of time chatting too was Britax.  Britax are well known in the parenting world and are a trusted and household brand – especially with their car seats.  On the Britax stand was one of the engineers and whilst many bloggers were chatting away about the products I gave him a bit of a grilling about DDH and disabled friendly essential products like careseats and pushchairs for older toddlers!  Erin needed the two way elite which can be difficult to get hold of, but is an awesome car seat.  He told me all I needed to know and information I was able to pass back to other DDH mums and dads.  Thankfully Erin doesn’t need a specialist car seat anymore.  Likewise we chatted about children that need to be in pushchairs a bit longer than other children.  Erin is nowhere near giving up the pushchair even though she is three and half.  She will be using one until she starts school I expect!  The legacy of DDH leaves her weaker and not able to walk too far yet.

Britax have since invited me to become part of their ambassador programme.  This is exciting for me personally, but also for all readers of Emma and 3 as we shall be holding competitions and road testing products.  I will be reviewing products which will hopefully include car seats and pushchairs, not from a DDH persepctive as we require no specialist equipment now – Erin just needs a safe carseat and pair of wheels that fit her well and takes her from A to B!

Therefore keep an eye out for product reviews, relevant news stories and exclusive competitions from Britax.  A partnership I am looking forward to.
