Since having Erin and remembering how much I spent on toys with the other two I decided to be a bit more thrifty.
I didn’t keep anything after having Dylan as we were undecided for a while as wether we would have the third child we always planned. This was mostly due to Dylan being poorly when he was younger. Obviously we eventually did and she has enriched our lives beyond all dreams and I do tend to ‘treat’ her regularly!
I have been incredibly lucky as Erin was chosen as a FisherPrice Ambassador when she was four months old. Therefore I didn’t need to buy her anything for the first year toy wise. Since then I have have attended nearly new sales to stock up. Yesterday I went to a local car boot and found the best bargain and thought I’d join in Magpie Monday and show you all.
The best bit is that it only cost me £11 – what a bargain! I’m hooked and will be back next week.
Erin is already making the most of it!

Oh wow! That’s fab – I’ve seen these in the shops and they’re really expensive so we ended up buying a cheaper on for Ruby.

Yes they are. I had a quick look and it seems they are £56 new – and thats without the extra bits I got.

Wow! that looks like its in immaculate condition. I love boot sales. We always sell and shop at them when the season starts.

That is fantastic – it looks barely used and great to get all the accessories too! We’ve bought most of our toys second-hand. It means I can afford to upgrade the small one’s toybox regularly, often for less than the cost of a cup of coffee.
That’s gorgeous, Erin’s a lucky girl (you knew that already, right?) I wonder what treats she’s going to be serving up for the family!

It looks immaculate, it has obviously hardly been touched. However it will certainly be well loved and used here!
