In car safety is paramount to me and with Erin we have used more than our fair share of car seats. I used the Graco models when she was younger and then used the Britax Two Way Elite when in spica. I always worried about car seat safety when she was in cast as we needed to use cushions to support her. The two way elite has extra straps and is designed with spica cast in mind. It is a difficult car seat to get hold of in the UK as it is imported.
Now that Erin is able to use regular car seats I have tried a few to find her the most comfortable. Recently we have been reviewing the Solution Q Fix by Cybex. Cybex is a luxury brand often seen modelled by celebrity parents including Sarah Jessica Parker. Therefore I thought it only fair to see how the average family get on with one of their car seats.
The car seat comes in an array of colours and I liked the Lollipop which is a winter berry colour really. The carseat was easy to install using Isofix which ensured me that it was very safe. The carseat has great features and as the press release informs the seat is:

Erin was very comfy and safe in the carseat and I felt that she was very secure and well protected. The price of £190 is a fair price, not the cheapest available but not the most expensive either. I would happily pay this when you consider that this seat will see her through until she is the correct height and weight not to need a carseat atall.
I find it worrying how many children stop using carseats long before they should. My 10 yr old uses a a booster seat as he says that it is more comfortable and in addition to it being the law I am happy in the knowledge that he is safe.
