Find a New Beauty Look for Spring

Got the winter blues? Have fun this spring season by trying a new spring look. Spring can be a great time to create some fresh looks in both clothes and make up.

The weather can be really interchangable at this time of year with cold mornings and evening but the sun does warm up through the day. Therefore it makes sense to wear layers. A comfy hoody is a great addition to your wardrobe.

Femme Luxe sells a wide range of loungewear and going out clothes. Whilst we might not be out out yet we are heading that way. In this post, I want to show that anyone can wear loungewear. Both Chloe and I can wear the same style jogger set, feel comfy and look great.

This black hoodie and cuffed joggers set features a cuffed leg jogger with an oversized hoody. The hoody looks great worn with jeans and trainers or as part of the complete set. The joggers are warm and soft and ideal for chilling at home.

Just to show that joggers really are the comfiest product known to women Chloe also got a pair in peach that she wears with a long sleeved black crop top and white trainers.

Changing Up Your Makeup

Changing cosmetic colours can be easier and less expensive to keep up with changing trends.

Spring is a great time to freshen up the makeup bag and try a new spring beauty look. There are many changes in the spring fashion line this year; updating the colours of cosmetics is also necessary to keep up with the spring trends.

This beauty look for spring uses neutral colours. The neutral shades help enhance every eye colour and shade of skin. Using the shimmery grey eye shadow keeps this spring look neutral but adds a special touch to using a brown. The peach colours on the lips keep it fresh, light, and youthful-looking.

Products Needed:

Eye shadows in vanilla shimmer, neutral deep shade of brown, shimmery gray
 Dark gray eyeliner
 Black mascara
A blush that gives a natural glow
 Neutral lip liner
A soft shade of peach lipstick
 Shimmery pink lip gloss
 Makeup brushes

For the eyes:

  1. Start by applying foundation and cover-up. Add a light layer of powder to help set the makeup to keep away shine.
  2. Apply the vanilla shimmer eye shadow on the brow bone, eyelid, and along the inner corner of the lower lashes.
  3. Apply the deep neutral shade of brown to the eyelid and blend with the vanilla shimmer eye shadow.
  4. Then apply the shimmery gray eye shadow along the top lashes and into the crease. Blend with the vanilla shimmer and neutral brown eye shadow. Also, apply along the lower lashes and blend with the vanilla shimmer eye shadow. This gives a natural definition to the eye instead of using an eyeliner which can be harsh.
  5. Apply the dark gray eyeliner to the top lashes. Get as close to the lashes as possible. If applying the eyeliner is difficult, smudge with a cotton swab and fine makeup brush.
  6. Add three coats of mascara to the top lashes and one to the bottom.

For the cheeks:

  1. Apply the blush to the cheekbones and blend. It should look like a natural flush tone, so be sure to blend.

For the lips:

  1. Line and fill in lips with the neutral lip liner.
  2. Using a lip brush, apply peach lipstick. The lip brush is the best way to apply lipstick for the lipstick to blend with the lip liner.
  3. Apply the pink lip gloss to the top and bottom lips.

Now is a great time to update for Spring and ready for stepping out into the sunshine and out of the shadows of lockdown.
