Since the beginning of 2020, bucket lists have become a hot topic in public. People are worried about trying to fit in as many fantastic experiences as possible before they die, and because of that, they are nervous about what’s feasible.

These are three great activities to try before you die that will get you excited and looking forward to your next adventure!
Work a Season Abroad
Most people don’t dream of labor, but working abroad is entirely different. The idea of working a season abroad doesn’t necessarily mean working a season as an accountant in Quebec but instead taking on a skill or job that interests you in a beautiful location.
This could mean learning how to make fresh pasta for a season in Italy or learning from professional fishermen in New Zealand. Think about what skills you’d like to take in, and then consider which picturesque location you’d like to do that in!
Swim in a Bioluminescent Bay
The ocean is a vast mystery that many are fascinated by. In some areas, that magic is visible when the tides and beaches glow at night from bioluminescent algae. These waves last between two to three weeks on average and can be seen worldwide, from Washington in the USA, to Halong Bay in Vietnam, and all over Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Islands.
Although bioluminescent plankton isn’t safe to ingest, you can swim in it as long as you want, depending on the area, making this one of the most beautiful bucket list ideas. Try to plan your visit around other items in the area, so you’re not only focused on nightfall but enjoy the beauty this bioluminescence offers!
Road Trip Across the Country
America is the fourth largest country globally, which is why road tripping has become such a popular vacation idea. However, if you want to take this further and fully get to see this country from coast to coast: road-tripping across the entirety of it is a must!
Although if you drove straight through, it would only take four days: what’s the point in that? For this bucket list idea, plan two weeks to a month to travel across the USA and get to know all of the little towns and big cities it has to offer. Enjoy tourist traps, let yourself get distracted by roadside attractions, and have fun with them.
You can plan your hotels ahead, but it will be stressful to try to catch up if you get even one day off course. Instead, consider booking the day of! You’ll find more interesting and bizarre hotels this way, including things like the clown motel in Tonopah, Nevada! Allow yourself to have fun with it!
Your Bucket List Should be Magical
Although many treat this list as a to-do list of items they have to complete before they die, your bucket list should be something fantastical that thrills you. So consider one of these bucket list items, and try walking on the wild side!
