GPS Trackers? Why Would You Want One?

I have an uneasy relationship with tracking people even though many families do use tracking apps to keep tabs on each other. I have seen a huge rise in parents asking about what apps to use for tracking teenagers and say that it helps with giving peace of mind when teens are driving.

I know some use them whilst their kids are at university or travelling, some claim that the whole family benefit from knowing where each other are and it is not about privacy it is about having an awareness. Yet it still doesn’t sit easily with me, I don’t want to know my grown-up children’s every move and I don’t want them to know mine. it is not because I have something to hide rather I just feel that it hampers independence.

So whilst tracking apps are not something I will be adding to our family phones anytime soon there are definitely benefits to other tracking devices that I can see. A GPS transmitter is more reliable than a phone app which can easily be switched off or left on the side.

Everything has got so much more expensive and there may be occasions and items that we need to keep track of.

My dog gets very distracted by squirrels! We will be casually walking in the park and she gets a whiff of a squirrel and she’s gone! Now I have always been lucky and she comes back and so far she has not ventured too far but I wouldn’t put it past her. A tracking device would then come in handy and I can’t imagine the devastation of a missing pet.

A pet tracker can be attached to the dog collar or harness. Most dogs are accustomed to wearing these items anyway and experience has shown that they get along with the tracking device very quickly. It can add a another layer of safety to letting your dog off lead. Even if you have a dog with great recall they can still get spooked and run. The tracker can ease some of the fear and panic as you will know where to head, to be reunited with your furry friend.

Likewise, cars are super expensive these days and adding a hidden tracking device could help after a theft or when you leave your car somewhere when you go on holiday. A hidden tracker transmitter in this instance makes perfect sense and the PAJ GPS Tracker for cars has many advantages.

Using a car tracker offers help in an emergency situation too. Using the SOS button on the device you can notify the Police and ambulance about your location instantaneously if ever needed.

There is a small fee once you have purchased the device as you have to purchase the subscription. The only communication channel for a moving asset is the wireless network. PAJ are charging a small amount for your GPS Transmitter to work seamlessly in all regions. This amount is fixed irrespective of the country you are in.

How to use the tracker

The tracker is simple to use and you will have live tracking of your device. You are notified of any situations via push notices meaning that your tracking is always working for you in the background. There is also easy monitoring using the free ONLINE FINDER Portal App for Android and IOS.

Therefore although I said I am not a fan of tracking people unless there is a physical need, maybe a relative has dementia, I do see huge benefits in using a tracker to monitor your expensive gadgets or vehicles. You can buy the PAJ Finders online here or on Amazon.
