Safety on the school run is a cause for concern to all parents. Particularly if you live in a built-up, urban area, busy roads just add to the stress of getting your little ones to school on time.
In an ideal world, everyone would be a perfect driver. The only thing to worry about on the road would be ensuring the kids are entertained and not causing too much of a mess. Alas, this isn’t the case – so we need our multi-tasking hats on more than ever on the school run. This is equally true whether you walk or drive.

I am not going to admit my results! *hangs head in shame*
I already did this test and failed! I was shocked with myself however it’s all about signs and some of them were very ambiguous. Real driving skills comes down to being attentive on the road, driving moderately and being careful.
I wish more people would follow those rules.
Oh my days. I’m not even going to TRY the test because we’ve moved out of the UK so now I’m following a whole new set of road rules. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it… nothing to do with the fact that I know I’d fail 😉
In seriousness though, it’s a good idea for people to be aware of their own road knowledge (and lack of).
I’m a bit scared to try 😉
