Finding ourselves in lockdown again is hard, really hard and our children and teenagers deserve all the applause for getting through another week of home learning where their parents often can’t really help them. Many have worked through their tasks with steely determination and grit. They need some fun and thankfully Conductive Music are here to help with that.
Many kids enjoy gaming but now they can try creating musical video games, with support from the experts. Conductive Music are offering a brand new programme Momocuri at a small cost.
Who are Conductive Music?
Conductive Music is a not-for-profit organisation run by a team of music, performance and technology professionals passionate about teaching children vital skills for their future. All of the lessons are based on STEM + arts approach, integrating music with technology to aid them in developing multidisciplinary awareness and abilities. They have eight years of experience teaching in primary schools (from Year 1 to 8) and universities across the United Kingdom, Europe, as well as across Asia.
Momocuri
They are about to launch a new project, Momocuri, in which they will use a tale from Ancient Japan to show how mixing storytelling, coding and music can come together. The children will design their own story, with the help of Laura Sampson, a professional storyteller, and Director Dr Enrico Bertelli, chief coder and technologist. Then, they will create their own musical melodies with the help of Dr Yui Shikakura, musician and researcher in Japanese ancient stories.

Why STEM & Art are vital skill sets
It is pretty strange to consider that many of the jobs our young people will do are not even around yet. Technology is a fast becoming where the future jobs will be, especially with an emphasis on AI and other computer generated skill sets. You can give your kids a head start by getting them involved now in activities that will enthuse them and teach them at the same time.
