Today saw me up with larks and catching a train with Chloe and Dylan to Crockwell Farm Nr Banbury to attend a bloggers event put on by Next. Next are known for spoiling us at these events and today was no exception! Cue gorgeous cakes, pamper treats and magic shows for the children.
To get us in the mood Next had sent us giftcards to get ourselves something lovely from the new A/W range, however due to this long awaited mini heatwave we are having Dylan and I had to abandon our outfits and dress for the weather. Chloe was fine in her sleeveless top.

Dylan choose this warm gilet which is only £30 and will be fab at seeing him through the winter. It’ll go with everything and be such a versatile piece.

With my share I bought this gorgeous lace peplum cardi which is perfect for autumn and when I head back into the classroom after my year long sabbatical. I love the warm colour and lace seems to be a key trend for the season. It is on show for both womenswear and girls wear. I love these mock tops and they look great dressed up with black trousers or down with jeans.

After a slightly delayed start due to an incident with our minibus driver and his sat nav system we arrived at the gorgeous venue and were greeted with lovely cakes. Dylan told me he consumed 8 donuts and I believe him!! Catching up with lovely bloggers like Gemma is always a treat and snuggling babies like Emma’s new addition was a bonus. I had a look at the new children’s clothes and loved the yellows and blues which we evident in both the boys and girls clothes. Whilst the children got busy I was able to indulge in some reflexology. The therapist doing it was spot on, quickly identifying (correctly) my shoulder and back pain, which has been exacerbated by carrying Erin in spica. As a treat I also enjoyed a pedicure which has my feet and toes all prepped for my flip-flops now that summer is here.
Chloe had her picture taken by the fab photographers and as soon as I get them I will share them. It was such a lovely day and I can’t thank Next enough for their hospitality and generosity.
Sharing is caring!
