With our family history of hospital appointments and broken bones it is hardly surprising that my children are fairly familiar with the role of doctors and nurses. Dylan’s current life plans are to be a doctor, he hasn’t specialised yet in his mind, but he quite likes the thought of surgeon. Chloe on the other hand is more taken with a role that combines sport and therefore is leaning towards physiotheraphy, again she is the expert in that field. Chloe has already had physio on her ankle, back and knees and just today she has been referred for more physio on her wrists.
Little Erin is probably the most qualified to play doctors though and doesn’t she know it! She was most disappointed recently when I met Dr Ranj from one of her favourite TV programmes. She stomped and shouted and told me that is wasn’t fair! She keeps watching a video I took of him presenting my friend Jane with her MAD blog award!
Another firm favourite for Erin is Doc Stuffin, she frequently reenacts scenes and makes her teddies better. Therefore when I was asked if I would host a twitter party for Doc McStuffin I knew Erin would be happy. A few days ago we recieved all we need to throw a party. the box included a whole host of the toys which Erin cannot wait to show her new school friends. In addition there are party bags full of treats for her little friends.
However the best bit is that YOU are invited to join in to. So take to twitter tomorrow Thursday 2nd Oct at 4-6. Make sure that you are following me @emmaand3 and @ukmums.tv You will be invited to play along with plenty of chances to win prizes for your wanna be doctors. Make sure you look out for the #Doctober hashtag.
Sharing is caring!
