I love my blogging hobby, it has given the children some lovely opportunities and great treats over the past year. However Regis Salons decided that it was actually going to treat the mums! I squealed quite loudly when I received an email inviting me to go and have a bit of a makeover or an update at my local salon. I spoke to Jo the salon manager over the phone and discussed my requirements. I choose to have a full head of colour, with some blonder foils before a cut and dry.
I arrived at the Regis salon and was warmly greeted by my stylist who was fab, we had a chat over colour choice, got out the charts and she confidently helped me pick my colours. The salon itself is in Debenhams so very convenient and centrally based. I had my colour put on whilst chatting (and tweeting!) away to my stylist and once the colour was on sat under a lovely heater, which made me feel that I was back in Tenerife! This speeds up the taking time. I sat back with a huge mug of hot chocolate and some magazines.
Once I had cooked for long enough I had a lovely hairwash and treatment to help the blonde highlights. My stylist explained the whole way through the appointment what she was doing.
Then came the cut and I explained which bits I liked and which drove me mad in the mornings and she worked her magic. My stylist has worked for Regis for over 10 years and this gave me confidence in both her and the company. As she was committied to the company and they obviously have loyal staff.
My cut was then finished off with some straightening and a bit of product that made it just so! I was really pleased with the whole experience and the only downside was as it’s based in Debenhams and I felt so great I somehow ended up splashing the cash and buying myself more new clothes to go with how I was feeling!!
The verdict from the OH and children was positive too. Yesterday we went to Drayton Manor and OH even commented how good I looked with my new hair and clothes!

Sharing is caring!
