With 24% of British Drivers sharing that wet dog is the worst car smell I am rather glad I don’t have to deal with that smell in my car! Febreze have carried out a survey and found that a bad smell tops Brits’ list of turn offs when getting into someone’s car. Therefore Fabreze has asked what are your funny roadtrip stories? Our comes from when Chloe was about six years old. As we were on a long car journey and she desperately needed a wee stop. Lee pulled off the main roads and we found a tree. As I held Chloe so she could relieve herself she then stood up and looked around at the tree asking where the toilet roll was. It was as though she expected it to be hanging from a tree! It made us all giggle.
Dylan on the other hand is not a good traveller and he has been regularly travel sick on journeys. Even driving just a few miles can make Dyl sick if he is sitting in the boot seats or if he reads. Our top tips for avoiding travel sickness is too look ahead, not to read. Also those with travel sickness are best sitting in the seats next to a window to ensure they get fresh air.
This summer, three members of the British public have been handpicked to embark on a European road trip. Throughout the trip the drivers will have to perform a series of unexpected challenges which will cause a bit of a stink! After they perform a smelly challenge their car will be ‘Febrezed’. They’ll then pick up surprise passengers who will have an opinion on the air freshness in the car. These passenger approvals will dictate the next part of the journey for the driver. If they approve, our Brits will get a totally fresh experience, if not they will pay a stinky price!
The first challenge in the Febreze Roadtrip was a day at the farm which you can watch here.
Disclosure: I was gifted a #drivehappy summer kit from Fabreze.
