Autumn has arrived, I know this because the teen is putting her onesie on when she comes home from school and I dug out my slippers last week. Now slippers are rather important to me and I spend as much on slippers as I do on shoes and boots. Working from home means that slippers are probably the thing I wear most and Strive Slippers are perfect for those working freelance!. I have even been known to do a trip to A&E in slippers which was a little embarrassing. I also need slippers that I can go outside and hang the washing up in or pop out to the recycling bins in so they need to have a good sole.
Regular readers will also know that the children and I have dodgy feet. We all over pronate and the younger two both wear orthotics. I too wear shop bought inserts as I don’t roll my ankle so much or get foot pain. It is also amazing that they are making my shoes and especially boots last longer because I am wearing them better. I don’t walk on the outsides of my feet.
Strive uses BFT technology which is the unique combination of a contoured footbed, patent pending dual density sole unit and a worldwide patented sole geometry which can help to reduce excessive pronation. This helps align the body and by properly supporting the foot can save energy by reducing muscle fatigue.
That all sounds impressive so I have been putting them through their paces to see if they work for me.
The Vienna slipper is so strong and delightfully soft. From the picture you can see that they have soft fur linings which make the slipper comfy and warm. The outside is a nubuck and they are a slip on style. The slip on also is how I like slippers as they are practical to wear in the house. These cost £59.99 and are available in lots of specialist foot shops or online.
In addition to slippers homeworkers also need to have a favourite mug and a pair of joggers then they are set for Autumn!
