As long as your children are tall enough to see over the edge, this is a great way to see and experience Luxor. Most flights happen in the morning to catch the glorious sunrise, so kids might need an extra layer to keep warm.
River Nile cruise
It is fairly easy for kids to get hot and bothered in Egypt, as the powerful sun can be quite relentless at times. So, when tiredness does kick in, consider taking an hour-long cruise down the River Nile. Felucca sailing boats drift along the water gently and enable you to recuperate from a busy day exploring.
