Getting healthy has been my goal this year. I am the fittest that I have been in years thanks to Iron Zuu and the many people that encourage me week in week out as I get better at weight lifting, body weight, slam balls, and boxing. This form of exercise has seen me become stronger both physically and emotionally. Where I once had no time for exercise as I was too busy, I now train three times a week most weeks. Iron Zuu empowers me so much and my 19 year old daughter is just the same. She too trains with me several times a week.
I have made new friends who motivate and inspire me. The positive knock-on is that I am more aware of what I put into my body also. I drink less wine than I was previously and try to limit it to weekends only with maybe one glass midweek. This has made me feel better in the week as I am less tired, I sleep better and wake up ready to start the day.
I have also started to eat better, this is still work in progress as I most definitely have a sweet tooth and still make bad choices. I am trying to have healthier snacks on hand and this includes these yummy 4 Ingredient No Bake Energy Bites. I find if I have better choices available I will make them, but if I am unprepared then I just eat whatever is in reach!
