For some, nothing beats the taste of salty, fatty meat. It can be breakfast, lunch, or dinner – carnivores crave it!
There are many ways to sate this hankering if just through a quick snack in the middle of your day.

1. Bacon Jam on….Well, Everything
Bacon jam is a bacon-based relish that involves slow-cooking bacon with onions, vinegar, brown sugar, and spices, before mixing in a food processor. Other flavors, such as sweet chili or habanero, can be added to it to give it an extra kick.
It’s a versatile spread that can be paired with so many things. Slather it on crackers or crostini. Pair it with a variety of cheeses.
Throw it with tomato and mozzarella for a BLT twist. Top a cracker with melted brie and top it with bacon jam. Spread it on toast, or toss veggies in it that are meant to be roasted.
The possibilities are endless.
2. Salami Roll-Ups
If you’re short on time, consider grabbing a slice of salami and utilizing it as a wrap.
Whip together cream cheese with chives or other herbs, and simply spread it on the salami piece before rolling it up and popping it into your mouth.
You can also slather cheese spread on the salami and place a skinny, mini breadstick on one end before rolling it up.
Throwing in pepperoncini will give these snacks a little kick.
3. Brown Sugar Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Bites
Cut 12 slices of bacon in half and drain a can of pineapple. In a small bowl, mix together ¼ cup of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika.
Roll one pineapple chunk into one bacon strip, and secure with a toothpick. Roll it in the brown sugar mixture until all sides are covered.
Place these in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 20 minutes. Rotate the pan and cook for an additional 20 minutes, until the bacon is crisp.
4. Firecracker Chicken Meatballs
Mix together ½ cup hot sauce, 1 cup light brown sugar, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes, and simmer over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes to make the meatball sauce.
In a large bowl, combine 2 pounds of ground chicken, 4 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 ½ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, 2 large eggs, 1 cup breadcrumbs, ½ teaspoon paprika, and 1 teaspoon onion powder.
Use three tablespoons of the mixture at a time to form balls, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven at 475 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes, or until completely cooked.
Once meatballs are done, brush each with the firecracker sauce, and serve with toothpicks for individual bites.
5. Honey, Soy & Sriracha Cocktail Sausages
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons sesame oil, ½ cup honey, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons Sriracha.
Place two pounds of cocktail sausages in a large roasting pan and pour the sauce over top. Use a spoon to toss and coat all of the sausages.
Roast for 35 to 45 minutes at 420 degrees Fahrenheit, turning the sausages every 15 minutes.
