Degustabox Review, Discount Code and Competition

The Degustabox is a food subscription box that is delivered directly to your door each month. The Degustabox comes full to the brim with up to 15 food and drink products, many of which are new to the market. This month I am reviewing the service and sharing what type of products are included in the snack box, and letting you know what we thought of them. Read on for my honest first Degustabox review and discount code.

How does the Degustabox work?

Degustabox is a monthly subscription service and you will receive a box of surprise goodies around the middle of the month. The cost of the box is £12.99 and the value of the products I recieved was over £20 which is already good value.

What type of products are in the food subscription box?

The box has a wide range of products which can include vegetarian, vegan, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, gluten free and meat products. It is a great way to try new things.

My Degustabox Review

I was really impressed with my box and so were my kids! We often get bored of eating the same thing but it can be risky buying new food that will just stay in the cupboard for months on end! Many of the snacks included are new to the market but well-known brands including Kelloggs, Mugshots, Pitch and Nestle.

In my box, there were 13 products and I couldn’t wait to taste try them! I had to make sure I took the photos quickly as the teen was eyeing up several of the products especially the Enervit Protein bar. As you can see all the products are full-sized with the exception of the two mini Filippo Berio oil and balsamic vinegar bottles.

Along with the products each box has an A4 sheet that provides information on each product, including the cost and where you can buy the product in the future.

The highlights in my box were Kelloggs Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter which we had on toast for an after school snack!

Other products included were:

  • Nestle Cheerios Organic – ideal for the kid’s breakfast
  • Pitch Bloc o Choc, the kids loved these and have had the brioches many times previously. These differ as have a block of chocolate inside.
  • Mighty Mug Shot – Erin has these as a weekend lunch so was keen to try this one.
  • Mini Filippo Berio Oil and Balsamic Vinegar – we love balsamic vinegar with our lunches as follow a high protein plan much of the time. These bottles are also the ideal size for taking on holiday!
  • Hippeas – I don’t like these but the eldest did. She follows a healthy eating plan and liked that they were under 100 calories.
  • Apple and Raspberry flapjacks, I like quite gooey flapjacks which these were not. However, the teenager liked them and has had them in his school packed lunches since. These are vegan which many people will like.
  • Maynards Fruit Smoothie Jellies, have added vitamins to them and tasted good.
  • Esprala is a low-calorie refreshing fruit drink. The teen had this and enjoyed it.
  • Smarties Chocolate Bar, what can I say its chocolate – it’s tasty!
  • Mallow and Marsh Bar, this is also a good low-calorie treat at 134 calories.
  • Lucozade, this is the newest flavour and zero calories. The bottle is also now recyclable which is good to see.

We really enjoyed trying the new products and I think it is a great monthly subscription box. I like surprises and so did the kids. Many of these products went in their lunch boxes and I often feel like we stick to the same things so it was good to add some variety. We liked that the names and brands were premium brands which felt like we had got a real bargain too at just £12.99

However, I have a brilliant offer for readers who can get their first box for just £9.99 saving you a further £3. Click the advert below to take you to the Degusta discount code!

  1. My mum LOVES chicken flavoured crisps and 85% dark choc, my dad could eat a loaf of bread in one sitting if left entirely to his own devices. Me, I LOVE those Roka cheese wafers and little bars of Kinder

  2. We try to stick with fruit, veg and nuts but must admit to enjoying the occasional biscuit or packet of crisps.
