It is a time for writing Christmas lists and I have been asked what I want. I have struggled a little this year. I no longer need a huge amount, my office is in my home meaning I don’t need work wear or even much make-up. I am the mum that now puts on her face at 2.30pm just for the school run. My work uniform is jeans and jumper and I have plenty!
However there are just a few items that make my life easier, they might not all sound glamorous but they make the life of a blogger easier! Firstly I do travel about and it is mostly to London and I then need to negotiate the underground. Therefore a really decent rucksack has become a great friend. Thule have just the thing with their Enroute Triumph which is 21 Litre pack with SafeEdge laptop protection and compartments for essential daily gear – the perfect present for the stylish commuter.
- Fits a 15″ MacBook®/14.1″ PC plus a tablet
- Crushproof SafeZone compartment for sunglasses, smartphone and other fragile gear
- Laptop compartment doubles as storage for a hydration reservoir (reservoir not included)
- Organization panel keeps small items secure and easy to locate
This is £75 but delivers on security and practicality. I have been using the bag and it is comfy to use and leaves me hands free to juggle those escalators which is especially good when I have Erin with me.
Secondly I am always writing lists, list of posts to write, of things to do, of ideas. I also write in my diary all the places and events I go to to kleep records for my expenses etc. However I am totally lusting after bloggers planner which is so pretty aswell as practical, prices start from £22.
I personally would love a photography course. I bought myself a bridge camera and get some good photos but it is luck rather than judgement!
Fourthly a portable phone charger is so useful. I often run out of power if I am out all day and charging up is pretty important. It is not always practical to find a plug socket so a portable charger is really helpful.
On a practical level I have been getting neck ache from using my laptop and ideally want to get a more ergonomically friendly set up. I am thinking that getting another keyboard would be good and then i am not looking down the whole time. Any spare Mac’s out there?? This might be a bit pricey for my Christmas list!
Backdrops or little mats and few props would be good for some of the products that I need to take photos of. I am lucky to have a great setting just outside my house in the shape of some protected trees. These are used for photographing Erin in new clothes frequently.
Over to you – what do you have on your bloggers wishlist?
Disclosure: I was gifted the Thule bag for the blog post.
