The Party, PaperShaker review and discount code

Erin is turning four in November and I am planning to celebrate in style.  The girl deserves it as she has already endured so much in her first few years.  I still get choked up, even when thinking about it, but this year will be the first birthday that she is able to run and jump with her friends.   Last year she was walking but it was hesitant, she needed quite a bit of support due to her DDH.  This year however she is more confident, more able and a little whirlwind on her feet! Therefore it is no surprise that I want to pull out all the stops and make this birthday that little bit extra special.

I still need a theme for the party bags and food boxes but Erin keeps changing her mid!  I would love some ideas, I have been thinking hungry caterpillar or pirates as Erin loves the new programme Swashbuckle.  Another decision I spent a little while thinking about was Erin’s invitations.

I was offered the opportunity to review a personalised invitation and stationary service from PaperShaker, the timing was just perfect!  Therefore I went on the site which is super easy to navigate and use.  I uploaded some of my favourite photos of Erin and started to have a play about.  I decided to use a template that includes four of your own pictures.  I wanted to show how much Erin has changed in a year.  The photos show her on her scooter, jumping and having fun.  To me these represent how far she has come on this year.  The party details are all in the back of the postcard and again you can add some some motif’s like crowns, hearts or numbers.

The template I used was from the magical day card which was my favourite.  It also is in essence what I am trying to create, a magical day!  Once the cards arrived I was really impressed with the quality and finished design.  Each card has its own envelope and all I need to do is label them up.  It saves time writing out the details each time too!
