Babies Go Queen – Review

10/10  This is simply not just another tribute band offering to take on the almighty reputation of the legendary Freddie and Brian it gives a whole new twist and is suitable for a new generation of Queen fans.  The famous tracks including ‘Somebody to Love’ and the a classic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ are reworked using classical instruments.  Therefore far from blasting your ears you are taken to clam, tranquil place but with a tune that kicks a bit of punch.  It is a great way to introduce classical music and lullabys to younger children whilst still initiating them into the band classics of the past.

Babies Go Queen is a different, a new fresher sound.  The swirls and gentle rythams are not what you are expecting, the clevely orchastrated melodies gel rather than jar, they take you on a musical journey of exploration.

There are 13 Queen hits covered on this new masterpiece that will keep your little one zoned out whilst they are in the car or when you are trying to relax them before sleep comes.  It pleases both the senses of baby and mum who can hum along bringing back her memories of a mispent youth.  You can buy yours here and the CD would make an ideal Christmas present for mums and babies that rock.

If Queen is not your cup of tea other featured bands include Oasis, The Beatles and Coldplay.

I was gifted the CD for the purpose of the review although the thoughts and opinions are all my own.
