This morning we were invited to breakfast with Santa at Wyevale Garden Center Gloucester, it was a feast of epic proportions and one we thoroughly enjoyed. We visited with Erin’s cousin Olly and aunty Charlotte which made it extra fun for Erin and they were both very excited on the short drive over to Wyevale. The organisation was very good and we were shown to our table, by the elves, which was set up complete with chocolate coins for the children and crackers for everyone.
There were colouring sheets on the table and our two quickly set about colouring whilst our drinks arrived. I had a lovely cup of coffee and it was topped up when required by our elves. The attentive staff ensured that the children’s drinks were kept topped up and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast arrived quickly, the children had sausage, scrambled egg, toast, beans and a hash-brown. The adult version was a poached egg, sausage, bacon, mushroom, beans, hash brown, black pudding and toast. It was lovely! Once breakfast had been finished Christmas tree cookies were delivered complete with icing and choc drops to decorate them.
Once decorated the children were invited to come and sit in front of santa’s chair and listen to the elves. The Elves did a great job of exciting the children and getting them to call for Santa. He then made his grand appearance and he was magical with his beard and luxurious red coat he looked like Santa should! The children then returned to their tables and he visited each table in turn.
Once he had visited all the tables he sat in his chair and the children were invited up table by table to meet Santa and have a good chat with him. He was very engaging with the children even when my gorgeous nephew launched himself at Santa for a huge bear hug! He asked the children how old they were, what they would like for Christmas and so on. There was no rush and they all had a good chat and photo opportunity. They were then invited to choose a present for his huge selection. We were really impressed as the toys were really substantial with Olly choosing a sword and shield and Erin a ‘barbie style’ mermaid doll. Both of them were very impressed with their gifts.
Once they had eaten there cookies the children then headed into soft play for a few minutes, whilst I bought a few things! The breakfast was a huge success and it was a great way to see Santa and make it more of an experience. The breakfast costs £9.99 for each child which includes all the treats mentioned in the post. Adults can choose the full English for £7.99 or a light option for £3.99
In addition to breakfast there is also an afternoon tea package. Both these options are available every weekend from now until Christmas and tickets can be booked here.
Disclosure: We were invited as guests for the purpose of the review.

Oh this sounds incredible, so much more enjoyable than waiting in line with tired and grumpy little people! The presents sound fantastic as well,.
This sounds like such great value and what a great way to visit Santa.
This is really cute, I’m seeing similar things advertised and it makes me excited for when we’re able to do stuff like this. Looks like the little ones had a lovely time 🙂 Xx
Aww this sounds like fun the do a breakfast with Santa at a local farm to us which I want to take Blake to when he is a little older.
We have something similar to this back home, they deck out the farm with lights and create a temporary Santa’s grotto. It is wonderful fun for the children too,
That’s really impressive value and sounds like a lovely day – we have a Wyevale Garden Centre near us as well, and have been quite often for the soft play (and cafe!) but never at Christmas.
Sounds like a glorious breakfast made special by the Elves and Santa. Quick question why is the kids menu more expensive than the adults?
Sounds like a great way to visit Santa this year. The prices are really reasonable for everything you get the gifts sound good. Its also good that there is no rushing and the children get the option to have a good chat which makes all the difference x
