My Dancing Girls and a Jojo Siwa Microphone

Like many girls, I signed my two up for dance lessons when they were little.  I hoped they would be more graceful than I have ever managed to be.  There is a folklore in my family that my mum took me to ballet (I can’t remember it, so think the story could be made up). I didn’t last long as after the first show my mum was told not to bring me back to the next term.  Instead, gymnastics was suggested to me.  Apparently, I had problems with the discipline and thought I knew it all!

Chloe danced well, she kept going long after many leave dance school and only left when she had to choose between hockey training and dance lessons.  It wasn’t a tough choice but still, she misses dance and the flexibility it gave her. Erin started dancing and it was emotional. The girl that has battled with dodgy hips and had multiple surgeries has pulled on a pair of ballet and tap shoes.  The girl I thought may never walk without a limp can turn out beautifully.  At this stage her hypermobility offers some rewards, she is flexible and bendy and can get into lovely positions.

Both girls watched dance moms.  If you don’t know what dance moms is, it’s an American TV show about the lives of a few dancers and there often pushy mums.  They compete and the show is a docudrama of their day to days.  Erin fancies herself as a bit of a dancer, entertainer and now YouTuber. Those girls, are to Erin, what Grange Hill was to me.

One of the stars of Dance Moms was Jojo Siwa, she now has products out including Jojo Siwa Microphone and is a role model to many young girls.  Hello craze of Jojo Bows last year.

Erin was sent one of the new hair bows and also the Jojo Siwa microphone to review and play with.  We vlogged Erin taking a look.  You need to watch this vlog to see just how much of a singing diva Erin is turning into.  In fact she thinks she is the next Jojo!

As you can see I think Erin fancies herself of the UK version of Jojo.  The singing, the moves she has it all! The Jojo microphone is a great gift.  The Jo Jo Siwa Microphone is £14.99 in Amazon. The Light-Up Microphone features three different modes and really lights up!  By pressing the buttons it activates fun light-up effects. Like Erin demonstrates you can sing along to JoJo’s hit song “Boomerang!” This bedazzling microphone is even MP3 compatible, just plug it in to your MP3 device and get ready to rock out just like JoJo! Feel free to be yourself and sing your heart out!  Also look for the bright and sparkly JoJo Bodacious Bow (sold separately) for the complete JoJo role-play experience! Suitable for ages 3 and above. Requires 2 AAA (LR03) batteries (included).

Erin has had so much fun with this and it makes a great Christmas gift.
