Time flies- it’s an old saying but tis too true! The lil lady turned one on Wed, I cannot believe a yr has gone by since I was pushing her into the world. I find the childrens birthdays so empowering as I recall delivering them. I think its something the men cannot ever begin to understand. Don’t get me wrong I am sure their birthdays are very important to them but I spend the day reliving their very different births and constantly find myself marking the time and thinking about what was happening at this time etc.. I haven’t ever asked any of my friends if they do the same – so I wanted to find out if its only me and thought I’d ask you all instead!!

My son turned four on Saturday and I’ve noticed that I do every year think about his birth. And every year in the evening Me and my Mum have a special hug as we remember how close I came to not standing here today. Its hard not to remember I think 😀
