What toys do you remember from your childhood? I had a wooden spinning top that you
whipped the a long rope thing, I spent ages playing that under my nans carport when mum and dad were at work. I was really surprised to find this classic toy available at the Wooden Toy Shop. In fact there are hours of fun in the world of wooden toys.
I think it is really a testament of quality that these toys are still selling today. I think wooden toys are worth the extra bit of money they tend to cost as they are so well made and will last a lifetime. These toys can be treasured, well payed and passed down to younger siblings still looking like new. Plastic toys invariabley discolour, crack and lose there visual appeal after a while whereas wooden toys hold their own.
I also think that wooden toys look so cute in the nursey! The wooden toy shop has a fab range of toys from the traditional to newer designs. They stock the big names including John Crane and PinToy.
My favourites include the prams and doll beds. My dad made me a wooden crib for my dolls some 33 yrs ago it has been through my cousins, godsisters and is now back with my girls. Therefore I love this wooden pram that would go brilliantly with it.
The website is really easy to navigate and has helpfully put the toys into cateogorys to help you shop with ease. The playsets section has some fab products and again I love this farm with its magnetic roofs and cute accessories.
Also if you are looking for smaller priced gifts either as (dare I say it in May!) stocking fillers or birthday presents the range of puzzles and games is great, including this Ludo game.
However I have saved my favourite till last, i adore wooden ride on and who could resist this beautiful wheely bug. I am indulging Erin for her birthday with this. Also the wooden toy shop have free deliverly on spends over £50.
