The weather is slowly improving and May has gifted us with extra Bank Holidays and family time. Cotton Traders invited me to get the garden ready and also pick myself some spring looks.
I opted to keep with the royal theme and go for red, white and blue! I love a long skirt and thought that the blue maxi skirt is perfect for this time of year. It has an elasticated waist, pockets and is very flattering. I am wearing a size 14 in this picture. I find these skirts are so handy for summer holidays, BBQ’s, family days out and so much more.
I plan to wear it with a plain white tee as there is nothing better than a style staple that doesn’t take any effort – that you can pull out of your wardrobe, throw on and go – and that’s where the wrinkle free tops really come into their own. In pure cotton with a clever crease-resistant finish, they promise easy comfort, lasting quality and truly effortless style. A flattering V-neck and short sleeves mean you’ll want to wear it with everything from your favourite jeans to twirly skirts.
I am also loving cross-body bags and this beige design has adjustable straps and is the perfect size for my purse, phone and other essentials.
I completed the look with a pair of wedge sandals that I have. If you pop over to my Tik Tok account you will see my pre and post gym transformation where I swapped out the leggings for this new look!

In addition to clothing and accessories did you know that Cotton Traders also sell homeware and soft furnishings? I had a look at the Garden Gatherings and was immediately drawn to the Garden Gonks who are just the cutest. Gonk ornaments are a fantastic way to decorate your home and spread a little happiness wherever you put them.

We will be spending the extra Bank Holiday in the garden having a BBQ and therefore now is the best time to freshen up the garden. We started by cutting back the hedges and weeding the borders. New bedding plants will be added for a splash of colour.
Let us know how you will be spending the extra Bank Holiday?
