Levity III Luminarium Visit.

A great way to kick off the summer holidays is by visiting Levity III.  We were invitied to Taurus Crafts  at Lydney today for the press opening.  The Luminarium was stunningly beautiful inside.  The structure is a dazzling maze of colour and winding paths.  The concept is the brain child of Alan Parkinson who first started developing these structures in 1980’s since then they have travelled the world and it is finally Gloucestershire’s turn to play host to Levity III for the next ten days (22nd July – 31st July).

The outside doesn’t prepare you for the inside!

The children were quite capitavated by its whole being.  Dylan liked it and said ‘its relaxing’ Chloe thought the structure was ‘amazing’ Erin kept pointing at colurs and was definately mesmerised by it!  My gorgeous nephew Baby Oliver found it so peaceful that it actually sent him to sleep! It was also a great opportunity to meet up with Beth again who I met a Cybermummy.

Before I let the the images talk for themselves I would suggest if you are taking a baby, use a sling.  Buggies are allowed (along with wheelchairs) providing the wheels are clean but Erin loved being able to get up close and personal with my holding her.

The cost of the luminarium is £10 per family and it is easy to spend a good half hour wandering around and enjoying it.  Opening hours are 10 am most morning until 19.30.

Erin and me.
